The People Behind Justice Hockey

Leif Göransson

Leif Göransson is the visionary founder of JUSTICE Hockey AB. As an entrepreneur and a dedicated hockey parent, Leif has is driven by a singular goal:

“Every hockey player; short, tall, light, strong, beginner or professional, everyone has different conditions – but everyone wants to develop and become as good as they can be. Therefore, everyone should be given the opportunity for equally good conditions. JUSTICE hockey sticks offers that.”

Maria Rooth is one of Sweden’s most successful ice hockey players of all time. She is also the first Swedish female hockey player to be named a member of the IIHF Hall of Fame. (International Ice Hockey Federation). With Marias team, together with JUSTICE Founder Leif Göransson, the company from southern Sweden has developed hockey sticks that have basically taken the lead in the world development of ice hockey sticks.

Justice - a Fairer Hockey

All hockey players, young and old, should have the opportunity to play with the right hockey stick. Hockey is going faster and faster. The development of materials is one reason. Sweden is at the forefront internationally when it comes to skills and technology. Many of our best hockey players have learned to use the new generation of hockey sticks. With them, they have the possibility of hard finishes without time delays. New techniques have been developed, but they require a mallet that flexes.

We want to make a difference. We wish to contribute by offering all hockey players a hockey stick that is right for the individual. A stick adapted for the hockey player. Not the other way around.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Everyone must have the conditions to succeed.

The idea for a new hockey stick came about after founder Leif Göransson couldn’t find a stick on the market that suited his son. He realized that without a better adapted hockey stick, the son would fall behind in his development compared to his bigger friends. Leif then decided to simply create a fair hockey stick for him and other ice hockey players. Hence the name JUSTICE.This emphasizes your goal to tailor equipment to each player and adapt to the fast-paced nature of modern hockey.

“What if pole vaulters were allowed to jump with steel poles until they are teenagers, or if young slalom skiers were not allowed to go on carving skis? It would have been terribly unfair – and absolutely limiting the children’s development.
